Dims goofy

I am having my dimensions disappear when grouped. I have to select the group and click the model space scale up one click and then back to get the values to show and then when deselected they go blank again.

Hi Jody - so, as soon as you group them they disappear?

-Pascal

No I don’t think so and I’m not sure it is the grouping that is really what is causing it. I just found that by default the is no mask applied but when I turn on mask same as background the numerals display once more. The leaders and arrows have been displaying all along, it was just the numerals or text going unseen. Masking seems like a workaround for now but something is amiss if they won’t show with no mask applied, right?

Hi Jody - this should certainly not be the case - do I understand that with no mask applied to a dim, you do not see the dimension value, at least some of the time?
Can you post the results from the ‘SystemInfo’ command?

-Pascal

Pascal,

I thought that the mask turned on had helped but when I went from wireframe back to shaded the numerals and text went missing again. I finally thought to run the 'Bring to Front' command and think that has fixed the problem. I never remember having to do any such things though in the past.

Thanks for looking into this.

Hi Jody - your driver is not ancient but it would not hurt to check the Nvidia website for the latest. Also, can you please try SR11 and see if that behaves any better. (I think SR11 has just become the current SR so you should get an update )

-Pascal

OK, will try those suggestions. I was wondering about the graphics drivers myself. Downloading 11 now, thanks!
