That’s a repeatable bug. As a workaround, if you Explode the blue line the dim will place wherever you want it.

I see this - my first thought was that it was due to the curve’s self intersections but that seems not to be it… still poking at it…

@pascal I made another, see attached. It appears to be drifting away once your cursor is closer to the straight line than the arc

Hi Gijs - that one seems to behave as expected here so far… weird. If I Explode/Join then it does the bad thing.
