DimLinear wrong preview

Hello,

Why doesn’t the DimLinear component display the correct preview?

Black dim: Rhino :white_check_mark:
Green dim: Elefront :white_check_mark:
Red dim: GH DimLinear :cross_mark:

When I bake it, it comes out just as it should.

You’re not referencing the annotation style correctly.

What you’re doing is basically creating a new annotation style.

Use the Query Annotation style component instead to reference

So, when it was baked, it must have been created at the correct scale due to a name conflict.

Are you aware this is not the preferred way to bake an annotation?

Yes, I have been using elefront for annotations, attributes and baking. I am trying to integrate the new components introduced in R8 into our scripts.

On a related note, I’m trying to use the text overwrite parameter, and this as well, only take effect when baked. Say a string for T: Length <> mm, only the number (red) is being preview, but when baked (yellow), it displays correctly.
