I am an absolute beginner and am dealing with sustainable construction methods as part of my diploma thesis. For this I intend to develop a tool with Rhino and Grasshopper and need help in assessing the feasibility.
The aim is to develop a digital design assistant for architects.
The design assistant receives any floor plan as input and then helps to define the walls for a structurally verifiable bracing system.
The advantage of the tool is that the architect is much more flexible in calculating stiffening variants because he is not dependent on the structural engineer. The walls that are not required can then be substituted with sustainable materials.
At the present time, I imagine the following conceptual steps.
