I’m working on a new file in 5A851, and have noticed that if i have curves and surface edges that are coplanar (not uncommon if you’ve done a loft, sweep or network surface), i have difficulty clicking to select a single element. The pop-up that normally appears briefly flickers on the screen, but i don’t get the opportunity to choose which object i want to select. I can still select the objects using click-drag, and then de-select the ones i don’t want, so i’ve got a workaround for now, but this is definitely unexpected behaviour.
@decibelguitars, if you open Quicktime and start screen recording, maybe you can show us the odd behaviour.
If you are trying to select the edge of a surface, that is CMD+Shift select.
