I was checking the hull of a powerboat design. Then I found the strange hump in the surface close to a water outlet. To se what’s going on I made a section in the same plane as the clipping plane. the section doesn’t show the same hump in the surface.
Is the klipping plane showing the correct section from the surface or is the section line showing that the surface is ok.
Hello- clipping is using the render mesh - in this surface the mesh is quite coarse in some areas - use ShowRenderMesh/HideRenderMesh to see what is going on. -You can adjust the display meshes in DoocumentProperties > Mesh page or per object in Properties > Render mesh settings > Custom mesh.
