I have two lofts – one inside the other – and I was wondering what components/operations I could use to hollow out the space inside. Thanks so much.

You are almost there,
I’d extract the top and bottom curves for both the inner and outer lofts, since you scaled the curves along their centers, you can easily use the “Boundary Surface” components to build a nicely trimmed planar surface.
then you can combine the lofts (inner and outer) + The Caps (Upper and Lower) and you will end up with a closed Brep.

Nothing I used yours which probably says 0 to pick the first item of the list. However, I did reverse two of these lists to pick the lower curves Instead of the upper curves.
