Hi, why does moving a detail and all its associated text and dimensions result in the History Broken warning?
On another note I really appreciate the little UV icons that show when surface points are turned on.

Hi Eric - yeah, that seems to break the association with the dimensioned objects - like editing any children in a History situation - the dims are children of the geometry - but f you move just the detail any dims that are snapped to things in model space will go along automatically via History.

Ah OK, makes sense. Now, just an idle thought but how to make text and hatch objects in a layout children of the detail so they move as well?
Eric
Hi Eric - if a hatch is made in layout on a curve that is in modelspace seen through a detail, and History is on for the hatch, then the hatch will move with the detail. What Iām wondering is if hatches should be like dims in V6, and have History on automatically.
