Dell Prescision 7750 - Rhino and Vray

Looking to add a mobile workstation in addition to a desktop that will be used for Rhino and Vray and wondering if anyone has or used a Dell Prescision 7750 with the following spec or has any other recomendations:

Just wondering how the spec of the mobile workstation will compare to the desktop?

I’m using a Dell Precision Mobile 7710 since 4 years and I’m very happy of it.
I’ll sure suggest this as a workstation for Rhino and Vray.

My only suggestion is to invest in a better Nvidia Card. The 1050Ti looks a bit small for productive works.

If I read Duncanbulldesign’s post correctly the mobile workstation he proposes to buy has an Nvidia Quadro RTX4000, which I understand is a pretty good card for Rhino. Other spec seem pretty good too.

On the other hand, your suggestion to upgrade the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti in his desktop workstation is probably a pretty good idea for Rhino 6 and 7. Possibly upgrading the primary drive to 1 TB ATA SSD might be a usable improvement as well - they’re reasonably inexpensive these days.
