Delay menus/ pop-up toolbar Rhino 8

I had the issue with my previous installation. Uninstalled everything and deleted all registry entries with no effect.

This time I reset my whole Windows system. No effect. Can somebody tell me how to prevent this behavior. Thank you!

Btw. I can not fire the right click command on the floating toolbar.

Do not ever do any of those things to try to ‘fix’ some software issue until and unless instructed.

@JimCarruthers ok. But nobody could help me so far in the past.

Okay but nuking everything and rooting around in the registry is a good way to do absolutely nothing if not make things worse.

I’m certainly not seeing such issues here, run -systeminfo and post the results to start with.

Thank you @JimCarruthers

Run the systeminfo command in Rhino.

@JimCarruthers I can’t do it. The window disappears. Hence I found out there is a hidden option in the “reset pc command” that will wipe out all settings. Will come back then.

No don’t go trying to ‘reset’ things again, stop stop stop!

It “disappears?” Can you alt-tab to it? Is Rhino still active in the task manager?

Try to start Rhino in Safe mode.

I have a feeling that this is just a misbehaving plugin.

@JimCarruthers so I’m back with a clean install without any restored Windows settings, the option mentioned above did the trick. No issues so far. Thanks for your help.

Now keep an eye on your rhino behavior, because the issue will likely return back once you install your plugins.

@tay.othman thanks, but I have no plugins installed. There were some people who had a quick look on what was happening, but did not find a solution.

@tay.othman you are right. in version 8 there are issues with StrokeIt which is a mouse gesture application. Once turned off there are no issues. Thank you
