Default skin for rhino in explorer

Good afternoon,

We may create a plugin for Rhino with a skin, but we wish to set the skin as default when opening a model in windows explorer. Would that be possible?

Hi Matthieu,

I might be. There is information in the Windows Registry that indicates what application is associated with 3DM files. It might be possible to modify this info (in the Registry) to include the command line parameter to launch Rhino with your skin scheme. Another approach might be to write a stand alone application that did nothing but launch Rhino with your skin scheme and then associate this application with 3DM files.
