Default Camera Position Values (orthographic)

Hi there,

we are trying to set up default (orthographic) camera angles and I was wondering if someone has the exact values (eg. -116,40 211,40 -880,2) for the views below…

Top
Bottom
Front
Back
Right
Left

diagonal front
diagonal back
diagonal left
diagonal right
diagonal top
diagonal bottom

Isometric left
Isometric right
Isometric top
Isometric bottom

If I do this manually/by eye it is never quite accurate… the screenshots in the attached folder are coming from illustrator, the basis there is the front view which has all rotation degrees set to 0…

would be great if someone has an idea on how to translate these values…

Hello @Max_Kuwertz,

thank you for your question. Currently, there is no such way of transforming the orthographic camera positions. At the moment they are lock to the 6 version you can chose in the dropdown. Everything else is currently not intended.

As I completely understand your use case, I created a feature request to

  1. create defaults for isometric and diagonal cameras
  2. allow to adjust the orthoraphic camera freely

We will let you know once this feature has been released!
