Darlene, a Professor of Art + Design at East Stroudsburg University, received her MFA from the School of Art and Design at SUNY, Purchase College, a BFA from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, and an MS in Digital Media Arts from the College of Technology in New York City.
In an attempt to shift her audience’s experience about the environment and transform the way they value it, she uses various technologies such as 3D modeling software Rhino and 3D printing to depict small plants and flowers indigenous to specific regions. The sculptures were designed as they appear in their natural state.
She cofounded the G3D 3D Printing Lab in 2013 and now has an operating lab fully equipped with FDM printers, PolyJet, Laser Cutter, CNC, 3D scanners and more!
