Cyles, V6 Display, and SLI

I’m sure I can just do a test myself but does Cycles and/or the V6 display engine otherwise ‘care’ about SLI settings? It doesn’t seem to be something I can enable only for the important programs (games)that need it, so if it does no harm I’ll leave it on, but if it does hurt Cylces that would be good to know.


Cycles doesn’t care about SLI settings (unless such a SLI combination is presented to the middleware as one device). At some point it will be possible to select multiple devices to render on (CUDA or OpenCL, not mixed).
