Cutting / Nesting pieces that are bigger than the material dimension

Hi All,

It is probably not exclusively an OpenNest question.

I’m CNCing shelves generated by Grasshopper. Some of them are 3.5m tall and equally tall. Is there a way to automatically cut a geometry when it is longer than the material sheet (plywood sheet)? It would save a ton of manual DXF file editing.

I would pack elements in one single long stripe. Then cut the whole thing into segments in grasshopper. I assume you are using the same panels.

Do you have a file you are using in practice?
