Cutting a solid nurb object with mesh

Hi I created a mesh using grasshopper and wanted to know how i could use it to split a solid object in my rhino file. I’ve tried to split and it doesn’t select the mesh

Hi John,

There are specific tools for meshes, Try _MeshSplit command.

However if you want to split a nurbs object with it you might need to convert the mesh into a Nurbs form to perform the splitting.

The command MeshToNurbs can convert meshes to faceted NurbsPolysurfaces. However if you have a dense mesh that could not be an option because it will bring rhino to a crawl.

If you provide some more info and or a file we could maybe help in more detail

thanks man, I was able to do it. It uses alot of power and luckily it went through
