Hey there
I want to optimize de height of a base surface so that cut and fill would be equal. I want to do that with galapagos in the end. i followed this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mmbIQvS2ZZk&t=1291s which is basically exactly what i need to be able to integrate galapagos.
Problem is with the fill surface. i’m not able to make the split Brep function, i just get invalid brep out of it.. I tried everything i know of but am stuck right now.. can someone point me into the right direction?

Hey Jakob
Thanks so much for that quick solution!! Really appreciate it, works exactly how i wanted it to!
Now i need to dig into how you did that..
Sorry just one little thing i’ve noticed..
why could it be that if i move the platform line the split sometimes does not succeed? I’ts just on some random heights that it doesnt work

A solution that is perhaps a little too complicated.

Can someone share an image of civil construction drawings when using rhino and grasshopper? I really like all these things I see here, but when I experiemented with GH on a recent project for the civil design I found that creating the drawings is more challenging than using Civil3D or a similar civil engineering package.
