Customizing symbol component

Hey all ,

I am searching for a way to customize symbol component to have other shaps than the default, like a png or even a geometry in rhino .
Also am thinking about making letters as symbols.

Have u have any solution for that?

No, the symbol display is limited to just a few preset shapes. There’s no way to display sprite runs using vanilla grasshopper components. The Rhino api does have support for this, but you’ll either need a script, or the GhGl shader plugin.
