Hi,
I’m working on a plugin, and want it to launch with Rhino via a scheme. I need to be able to control the viewport layout and settings, panel and toolbar layout and the Rhino skin itself (which I have already). What would be the best way to go about that? Any verified combinations of xml files, ini, rui?
Hi @agnieszka,
Most developers who want to re-brand Rhino do so by providing: 1.) a custom skin assembly, 2.) one or more Rhino plug-ins that customize the user interface and provide additional function, a 3.) a custom Rhino user-interface file (.rui).
I think we’ll need some clarification what specifically you need help with.
Thanks,
– Dale
Hi @dale
Thanks for the answer. I have a custom skin assembly done, and I’m working on a plugin. So I guess to reform the question - will a 2) a plugin + 3) a custom .rui guarantee that Rhino launches every time with a specified colour scheme and a specified window layout and panel layout?
Thanks,
-agnieszka
