Custom Preview + Clipping Plane = Error?

Hi all,
Just wondering how well does GH Custom Preview go along with Clipping Plane?
The result from my end seems go wrong …

Custom Preview + Clipping Plane

Actual Model + Clipping Plane

Hi -

That seems to be working fine here:

Please run the Rhino SystemInfo command and copy-paste the result here.

Hi -

Yes, that does make a difference. Please always attach relevant files.
I’ve put this issue on the list as RH-68841.
-wim

@wim Thanks a lot, hope it’ll get fix very soon.

Hi @wim , lately I realize maybe the issue is because currently Custom Preview doesn’t do preview as solid?

Here’s what it looks like if convert brep to mesh and turn on “Preview Mesh Edges” in GH.

Hi -

I’ve no idea what that means.

It’s still not the correct output, no?
Also, as the YT item states, this is not limited to using the Custom Preview component.
-wim

@wim Hi wim,

What I tried to say, is that the I found Clipping Plane seems function correct (current RH update ver.) with CustomPreview. The reason why it looks incorrect at perpendicular view likely is because the Preview isn’t solid. Hope the video and file below explain better.
