Custom display modes

Hello, how can I add “surfaces” to my custom display mode?
And is there some way to have display mode by parent? As with colors? Exploding blocks is too much of a hassle.

Technical display modes do not have settings for “surfaces”, only for the lines that are created from those surfaces.

Exploding blocks is too much of a hassle.

Note that you can sub-object select members of a block instance and then set the display mode for those members.

Hello,

I know about subselect, but using it in this case has never occured to me.
The change in display modes applies to all instances, but it’s still useful. Thank you.

I’m a bit sader about this, but I can’t have everything.Keep up the good work.
