Hey I have this really annoying problem where the curves of a solid randomly move around when I zoom or just move around. Anyone got a fix for that?
Heres some screenshots:
please post the .3dm file
what s in the document ? really only a box / one closed polysurface ?
what s the display setting (shade, shaded, wireframe) ?
are you graphic card drivers up to date ?
does your graphic card conflict with system requirements ?
for the tech people from mcneel - upload your systeminfo
_systeminfo
→ save → drag and drop the .txt to the post edit window.
Yes its just a box. Display setting is shaded. Everything should be up to date. I never had any problems with it before.
Here are the files:
Systeminfoo.txt (2.4 KB)
Box.3dm (54.8 KB)
Virtual machines are not supported, this is why. Getting decent OpenGl support on real hardware is hard enough.
Do you know if theres a way around it? It used to work perfectly fine.
No one has any idea, that’s the problem, who knows what layer of the whole virtualization stack it’s coming from? And no it did not “work perfectly fine” before, you just don’t have a frame of reference for what normal proper performance is. Your virtual machine specs are below requirements for Rhino 8.
About all you can do is trying turning down the OpenGl support in Rhino in Tools->options->view->opengl.
Alright then it worked “just” fine…
