Hey everybody, Im quite new to grasshopper and have been trying to use it extensively for the past weeks.
I am trying to model some curved beams that are following specific points in my diagrid roof. Problem is, after the interpolation the curvature of the line itself intersects in desired point but creates a second point of intersection. The curve itself overlaps with the diagrid pattern which is not what I want. I wanted the max curvature to be at the given point.
The pictures show the interpolated curve with the points on the diagrid.
When I check the intersection with MCX it shows me there’s 2 points of intersection due to the curve overlapping on top of the diagrid (idk why).
Zoomed view of the curve intersecting the diagrid twice. I just want it to intersect the first point.
Is there any tips of methods anybody knows to prevent this? I thought it might be something to do with the curve’s tolerance or maybe changing the interpolate curve’s curvature, but playing with the ‘degree’ input of the component didn’t really help. Any help is gladly appreciated!!
