Curved Waffle Structure Intersection Help

Hi All,

I am creating a curved waffle structure but am having trouble figuring out how to create the slots of my beam intersections. I was trying to make a rectangle that will fit the dimensions of the intersection so I can take the difference but I realized that at certain intersections these rectangles don’t align with the intersection orientation and will most likely fail. Is there a way to fix this alignment?

Thank you for the help!

I’m not getting into waffle structures, just simplified ideas (white group) to create “cubes” between surfaces.

SubSrf (Isotrim) is used so the original surface division is preserved and the list of cubes can be partitioned in various ways that can be useful.
