Curve selection not working

Every once in a while, in the middle of working on a model, my curve selection abilities suddenly stop working. I still seem to be able to select curves by dragging a box over them, but when I click directly, the selection options box flashes very quickly, but does not stay open to allow me to choose between the curve, polysurface, etc. I can’t seem to figure out why this happens. Has anyone else had this problem?

Hi Lauren - I’ve seen this happen intermittently on my mac running Windows 8.1 and Rhino, but not in Rhino for Mac. I can never reproduce it when I want to make a bug report.

I have had this problem too on my MBP a couple of times with RC1. Crossing selection didn’t work either…

Philip

I’ve experienced this as well. In my case, it seems to happen when I have a curve that’s co planar with a surface or polysurface edge, which I noted last week. It’s one of those frustrating intermittent problems that’s very difficult to reproduce!
