Curve Piping Unit Disrespect

I have many curves with non-zero curve piping radius in an inches model. I inserted this model as a linked reference into a model that uses meters. The curve piping displayed in the inserted version now consider the radius of the curve piping to be meters! It is not respecting the units of the original model!
