CurvatureAnalysis - Colors reversed in key scale

The colors displayed in the key scale are reversed from what is shown on the object, and from what has been used previously. The colors are reversed for each of the “styles”.

In the images below the “triangular” objects are portions of spheres, with the radius and curvature shown. The tapered object is a portion of a variable radius “pipe”, with radius of the large end 100 and radius of the small end 5. Also shown is the example in V8, with the colors in the key matching the colors on the object. Previous versions are the same as V8. V9 WIP (9.0.25051.305, 2025-02-20)

This is a significant bug because it can easily mislead a user in situations less obvious than the example below.

At first this feature was misleading; it took some time to digest (and forget). :sweat_smile:
Now, I’m having a vicarious experience through your post.

@Gijs This needs to be put on the pile to be fixed sooner rather than later.

It took me a while to figure out what was going on, and I almost gave up using the WIP because of it.

@davidcockey thanks for reporting,
