When selecting Objects anything around a 0.5-1" Radis (On my screen) triggers the selection of said object. It gets really tedious and annoying when I have complex pieces as I usually have to zoom in to select specific pieces. This also is an issue with gumball. My cursor can be an inch away from the arrows and I will still be able to select the arrows.

This issue occurs on all files that is opened with Rhino 6 however it is not an issue with Rhino WIP. I want to keep using Rhino 6.

Any help? I have attached a screenshot showing how far my mouse is from the object.

Hello - please try this: open Options > Advanced and in the search box at the top type in “PickBox”. In the filtered view you should see a number for MousePickBoxRadius - what is that? 7 or 10 is ‘normal’.

Wow,

That was the issue. It seems like I accidentally set it to 30.

Thank you so much, I have been working like this for the last 2 months.

Hello - this is actually the third report that I am aware of where this number is being set to 30. If you see this happen again, please don’t fix it immediately - instead, please disable all of the third party rendering plug-ins - I see you have several - in Options > Plug-ins page, and then close and reopen Rhino. Does that change anything? (Then fix it…)
