When I use Rhino 7 on my PC, the cursor does not lock on the vertexes of the geometry. What can I do to fix this problem? I have played with various settings, including turning smarttrack and osnap on and off and checking and unchecking other settings such as vertex, near, end, and more, and I still cannot get the cursor to lock. Is this a problem of having to update the software or changing a setting that I most likely overlooked?
Hi Eduardo -
There are a few settings that influence snapping. Could you right-click on the Osnap
field in the status bar and post a screenshot of that here?
Also, please post a simple 3dm file with an example of an object that you are trying to snap to.

Also, just in case… nothing will snap if Rhino is not in a command and asking for a point OR if you drag geometry and wait 1/4 second before dragging for the sanp to activate. But with Rhino just stting there doing nothing, there wil be no snaps if you move the cursor around.
