Cubic Diamond Structure

Hi,
I need the cubic diamond structure model in grasshoper like this, but I can’t get the angles right. Can you help me? Can you share the Grasshoper screenshot and file?

Hello
It seems this question was answered here

You don’t need grasshopper as it is very simple to do it in Rhinoceros. But if you want to make some automation this forum can help but we must understand where you have problems.

I am studying mechanical engineering and I need to do this using grasshoper. The problem is that the angles of the atoms I put in the image need to be symmetrical. If you possible, can you share the grasshoper file?

I modeled this with the help of your model. Finally, can we make a simple table or chair using this model? How do I do this? Again, would it be possible for you to share the file?

There are not a lot of difficulties, you just have to array in 3D Cubic Diamond Structure and then look if points are inside you model or not. You can use Mesh inclusion. In order to keep a line and as a line is 2 points you’ll have to use a Gate And to be sure that 2 points are inside the structure. You don’t need my pluging.

Hi May I know which plugin you are using? And thank you for your support,

It is Nautilus,

I used it here as it can go on internet to take common mesh models, then put them at a compatible size and generate the points that are used to array the lattice. But quite all can be done with a bit more classic component.

Hi,

Finally, can you make a simple chair using the cubic diamond structure we drew? I am learning more effectively from the file you sent.

Thanks a lot for your help. It helped me a lot to learn.
