Hi, I’m learning Karamba3D to be utilized in a research project. My first step was to do a simple beam example and verify the results by hand. However, I’m running into some issues where the results don’t match up, and I think that it might be because when I define a beam, somehow it registers 2-3 cross sections instead of just one. This doesn’t look like what the example shows in the manual.
As a follow up, the results do match up (I made a mistake in my calculation) but I would still like to know why there is more than one cross section listed.
Thanks!
Hi, there is always a default Cross Section for a Beam and a Shell so even if you do not define a cross section, there are always a minimum of 2 cross sections in your model
Okay, thanks!
