It seems like this method is working in Floor Plan views, but not in Sections or Elevations.
Is this a bug or am I missing something?

I just setup the following to adjust crop region to the specified element/elements… not sure if there is an easier way though so any input on the matter would be great.
NB: only tested on the shown sample so let me know if anything goes wrong

Hello,
Thanks for this script, it really helps in better understanding how View UV’s are set up.
But it also seems really obscure. What determines the origin of a View? Because the origin is at a seemingly arbitrary place it makes for a lot of Domain gymnastics.
It kind of makes it unworkable to simply draw an outline in a View or in Rhino and then reference it to crop the View.
