Crisp Shadows in Custom Display Mode

Hi all,

I have a custom display mode based on the ‘technicolor’ display mode posted elsewhere on this forum.

I’m trying to get crips shadows, but the shadow on the object itself is jagged:

I’ve been playing around with the display mode’s settings, but no succes yet…

Any ideas? Thanks!

That’s maybe your render mesh showing its facets.

you can edit that in File→Settings→Mesh (Mac)

on Windows I believe it’s at File→Properties→Mesh

You can also edit the render mesh on a per object basis via the Object Properties

That works, thank you! I still get a rather gradual shadow, would there be a way to get sharper shadows?
