Creating Template with embedded pictures

Hello,
I’m a teacher and I’m trying to create a template for an assignment with pictures embedded. Every time I create something the students open it and the pictures are black. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

Hello - what command are you using to get the images in there?

-Pascal

Hello- I guess it would be helpful to have the entire report from `SystemInfo’ command for one of these machines where the images show black. Please also post here, or send a copy of the file you are asking about to tech@mcneel.com with a link back to this topic in your comments.

Hello - thanks - that system info looks OK to me… and the images show here just fine… are the files being opened from downloaded, local, copies of your file or from a network location?
(several typos in the text in that file btw… )

-Pascal

We have a shared network folder for my class.

Hello - Can you please ask one or more students to downlod the file to their desktop and open it from there?
Any different?

-Pascal

I will give that a try. Thanks
