Creating solid from broken meshes

Dear experts,

I recently downloaded a 3DS file from the internet and imported that model to rhino and hope to export it as an stl file. However, the meshes have a lot of broken edges and I am not sure how can I fix them and turn the model to solid in order to print. I tried using Netfabb but it doesn’t work. Will anyone be able to help me fix it or give me some advice upon this issue?

I put this together for V4 but it describes the process:

is this available on mac as well?

Ehh random 3DS files off the Internet are a terrible choice to 3D print–obviously it was never intended for that purpose–you might as well model it from scratch in Rhino.
