Creating Sectionbox from the ElementBoundingBox component

Hello,

As long as you have a Box you can utilize it as input to create a Section Box, using the View Section Box component… I usually use the below to quickly find elements from schedule while working.

Let me know if that answers your question or if I didn’t understand the question correctly?

Hi @park,

Direct conversion from ‘Element’ to ‘Box’ will give you a box aligned with the object axis not the world axis.

The issue is that ‘Element Bounding Geometry’ is partially implemented and only works with Walls, but conversion ‘Element’ to ‘Box’ use to give you a good box for this purpose.
