Creating a Curve from a Mesh object

Hi,

I’m fairly new to rhino and grasshopper so I’m really unsure as to how to fix this or find out what has gone wrong. I am essentially trying to breakdown this existing low-poly shape into the brick shapes as seen in the video. In his initial set up he uses a curve, I have scoured the internet trying to find a way to convert the existing mesh to a curve to then follow the rest of the tutorial but have come up with nothing. If anyone has any ideas as to how I can do this with either the tutorial or a different method I would love to hear it!

Many thanks,

Not really sure I’m understanding what you want. Those base curves you just CTRL-SELECT the edges and copy/paste them and you’ve got the curves. Or _DupEdge and select the bottom curves also works.

Thanks for the response! Sorry should’ve explained it a bit better. I’m trying to take the attached low-poly mesh in rhino and have grasshopper output a form onto it, like the technique shown in the video. Hope thats a more clear and concise version of what I want to do.
