Created entirely in Grasshopper

Artist based in Cape Town, I use Rhino/Grasshopper to create my generative art.

Never really progressed to working in 3D, but I’m in no particular rush to do so. I started learning Grasshopper because I wanted to learn how to create tessellating patterns which could be modified more easily, but along the way I stumbled across various “bugs” and began exploiting them in order to encourage more unpredictable outcomes.

Put simply, I use various techniques to subdivide a surface. In terms of colour, I’ve moved away from using predefined colour palettes to employing image sampling to guide the distribution of colour.
