I had a problem with this before but thought it was solved, I cannot seem to find the problem. When running the script, I get a ‘‘a point in the grid is null. Fitting operation aborted’’, but the bounding box is the lowest point so i dont get why the ‘‘a point in the grid is null. Fitting operation aborted’’ pops up.

Just changing the slider value from 400 to 390 allows the code to work. Perhaps because your geometry is so very far away from the origin?
The mesh is invalid but can be fixed by culling duplicate points first (9.6 minutes! red group)
