Create smooth wormholes in organic form

Hi guys,

I tried to make a surface bridging which is similar to the wormhole, but I don’t know how to apply in the organic form…

[Surface bridging]

Is there any suggestion?

BlendSrf, between the two surface edges, usually does the trick:

at best, I would try sending a 3DM file. otherwise, it will be quite difficult for anyone to give an accurate answer…

I would like the make an organic form with three wormholes in the form. After I used blendSrf and transformed the open polysurface to a mesh, the mesh is not smooth enough, like below image.

I would like to create holes like this one, smoothly connect to the surface!

(( This smooth one is created by me, I used Torus and reshape it,but it only has one hole))

Anyway, Thank you very much for your reply, it means a lot to me!!!

The Rhino meshes won’t give you nicer results. In v7 there will be an improved QuadMesh tool that will give you a mesh consisting of quads, but until then you won’t be able to get the same as from a torus.

Hello - it looks to me like the holes in the outer surface need to be both more circular and larger to get the effect you want with no self intersection.
