Hi all,
I am trying to model this backpack which has an angled pocket. Is there a way in SubD to model the angled entrance and angled seamline? When I was trying to play with the curves and vertexes, the form gets distorted. Thank you!

Hi @dlimonch
I would do the pockets as separate surfaces - just like it is in real life. There’s no point in doing it as a single surface, is there?

Hi @Normand,
Thanks so much! I will give it a try and I guess I will use QuadRemesh to covert and bridge it with the rest of the build. Thanks again
Hi Dan!
Angled and sharp details can be done if you add edge loops like this…
I suggest having the loops go through the model to maintain quads if possible too.
Hi Brian!
That sounds great! Thank you so much for creating the video! That is very generous of you
