Create and save script code using an expired eval?

Since I don’t have an expired eval handy here - is it possible to use the Python editor and create/test code that can be saved even if the Rhino eval version itself is expired?

Or, given that plug-ins are disabled, is it not possible to run the editor in an expired eval?

OK, thanks! I guess by extrapolation, running already-existing scripts is also not possible - i.e. RunPythonScript is also non-functional?
