I’m trying to create a vase surface and then generate a continuous path in the form of a spiral so I can then us this information to drive the path of 3d printer nozzle.
I’ve managed to create the path for the sides of the vase but I cant workout how to create two layers of spirals to form the base, so I want the printer to move in circular or pattern motion from the outer edge into the center then move up a layer and print a second layer moving to the outer edge and then continue printing the sides. I’ve attached images and the file of that I’ve achieved so far, Help I’m very new to this.
Ok well let me simplify the the request, how do I create a spiral curve from the hexagon curve that spirals into the center of the base of the Vase? I’ve made the loft of the vase and i know how to do the walls of the vase but I cant find a solution for the base, any help would move my uni project on
