CreaseSplitting ignored by OffsetSrf

Just as it says in the title : this is a pain in the nuts when drawing bent steel plates in particular.

I need those splits, so since I toggled the “CreaseSplitting” to “Enabled”, I want those splits at tangents no matter if the solids are created by extrusion or by surface offsets.

I know I can use DivideAlongCreases (tangents=yes) to fix the problem.

I’m not after workarounds, I’d just like McNeel to fix this inconsistency.

Yes, I agree, I asked for a global tangent crease splitting option many many years ago, and it was always refused in favor of a command-by-command option - which is still missing from a few.

Would you have an ultra-aggressive version of this setting ?

Because, despite having it on, I still get those stupid partially flat, partially rounded surfaces.
