CPlane Elevation Question

Hello,

I am trying to use the C-plane Elevation command to raise Linear Dimension above a 3D object so that the line or text is not inside the object and obscured when using the Technical Display mode.

However, all attempts using Elevation I have tried fail. Ditto setting the Cplane to a different point in the FRONT viewport. Tried this a number of time, but I can’t get the dimensions above and away from inside the 3D model. You can see most of the dimensions in wireframe, but switching to Technical obscures the dimensions.

Can anyone suggest what I am doing wrong or better, a work around … like moving my entire dimension layer in a 2D display port ‘to the front’?

All comments appreciated!!!

Pascal,

(Face Palm - I guess someone has to qualify for the dumbest question each month).

I need to search out a list of all possible Rhino Commands and do my penitence.

Thank you for your kind reply!

Best regards,
B

There are many, many commands in Rhino. When you know them all, you get to stop asking… :upside_down_face:
