Could this geometry be built?

For 3D printing I often modify real world GH architectural files that are posted here. I’m currently printing this geometry and after finalizing it’s shape I wondered if it could possibly be constructed as a real building. In case anyone is interested the attached file has only the final geometry in it, but I’ll be happy to post the whole GH script if desired.

Can it Happen… YES.

But you also need to ask if their is an actual client who is able to pay the full costs of doing so. NEW building shapes will be under heavy scrutiny for their structural integrity, and there ability to accommodate and comply with a wide range of building codes, and safety regulations.

However, USE, and Context will dictate a lot of this as there will obviously be a huge cost difference depending upon functionality… and where it’s built for that matter,… i.e. what country.

Are we looking at a low height building here, with an elaborate roof deign? Or is this to be a multi-floor skyscraper?.. Size and public capacity will determine everything.

Something like an observation tower—Eiffel Tower style—would be somewhat realistic. OR, maybe a control tower for Elon Musk and his Space X company.

Kind of reminds me of something Santiago Calatrava might design… and he’d likely get it built too, in spite of massive protests about maintainability, and construction costs.
