Jim the mesh created is perfect :ok_hand: So why when i create a mesh from the surfaces i sent you with a density of 1 i get a different result? what are the other parameter that you have?
Also do you have those default on the initial surface too?

@Despaul - I am not clear what the problem is, apart from the Flat Shading setting making things look messier than you like - that seems expected, to me…

Well we’d need the original Rhino file, the default settings on the iges show a couple flat spots but not the stray polygons messing up holes.

Pascal -> the issue is that when printing, surface will look messy because during the mesh creation it creates those weird shapes.

Jim -> ok, but with the iges file you managed to create a perfect mesh. which i wasn’t able even by putting a density of 1. so that’s why i was wondering what was your the detailed mesh options settings, maybe you have different settings option…

Ah, ok, so you are exporting the mesh - got it.

-Pascal

Well these are some settings, unfortunately it didn’t remember the precise ones I used in what I sent you but these seem okay, I don’t know what the key is.

Ok i just tried and it works perfectly, thank you so much jim!!
All my parameters were at 0 exept for grid sqads and density that was at 1.

Thanks for everyone who took the time to respond and figure out what could be the problem

Paul

there is if I got lost, I rebuilding the surface I get a good mesh without doing that configuration.
