Please don’t lambast me, I’m a noob moving from sketchup to Rhino 8. I’ve created a closed extrusion that I would like to make a copy of. I set the Gumball where I want it on the extrusion. When I hover the mouse of the Gumball I get a popup that says Tap Alt to copy. So I tap Alt and it moves the extrusion, not make a copy. Is there something I’m doing wrong? Thank you
You’ll have to start dragging one of the gumball arrows and tap alt once while dragging,
A + icon will appear next to your cursor and when you finish dragging the object will be copied to the new position.
