Copy set up/error

Hi!

I’ve been having some issues with copied text in Rhino 8 running on mac.
Could you help me where to set this up or find the reason why it behaves like this.

When I copy a text via copy command it seems that it makes the instance of the text. When I change the original text the instance (or all of them) change also. But when I change the instance itself the original stays the same.

I did not experience this in Rhino 7.
Is there a possibility to change or turn off this setting please?

Hi Adam -

Perhaps you don’t have history recording turned on in Rhino 7? With that turned on, the behavior is the same in Rhino 8 as it was in Rhino 7. To change / turn off, turn off recording history.
