one useful copy object that is not in Rhino is as such.
we cant copy object by snap to a point outside the object selected.

Trying to copy the selected object in yellow … and by snapping it to the base point in red circle.
it cant be done ( to snap that edge t).
i got the answer - in OSNAP setting, uncheck : “only snap to selected Object”.
